ORD has finally come - don't know if we should be happy or sad!

I think it hasn't really sunk in for any of us yet :/ but next week, when we see the company wearing their NCC shirts and going for training it will suddenly occur to us - we aren't part of that anymore, we aren't in NCC anymore, we aren't a platoon anymore (technically).

Well we must thank PartCs for the wonderful ORD - parade and dinner! Although it was really exciting digging for 'treasures' in the food - ORH MAYBE IT WAS PART OF THE THEME! :X

but ANYWAY! I was thinking, our time of buildling relationships with our part and the company is over, and it's time that we turned back to re-building relationships within our platoon. (:

We haven't gone for a full or almost-full platoon lunch for eons, because everyone's been busy and priorities have been different, but NOW! we are no longer NCOs, we are just well, eightasone. (:

LET'S GO FOR A PLT OVERSEAS TRIP! To HK RIGHT! Or Thailand or sth nearer if that doesn't come true. (:
I think it will be much better with EIGHT people instead of just 2 people who get sick seeing each other every minute >< haha!

weeell. it's been a horrible week. im feeling so sad now dont know why. tired of mugging chem, although din mug much cos my mind is miles away. ): the weather is so sucky nowadays .. and no trainings. haha let's just stop thinking about the company for a while. they never seem to be the source of our happiness nowadays. mean as it sounds, its very true.

yeah, how i wish we can be a part again. making our sec 4s smile, happy (: having the talk with them laughing along. but yet, we know we cant let our standard drop. because we carry with us the rgsncc legend. and we are very proud of it. in SIngapore. not only in rgs. it's more than just a cca, it's an honour, a glory and everything most cadets now dont ever feel it.

does the fault lies with us ? i doubt some of you will agree. although yes i feel that i have been a too lenient nco. and maybe certain ways will make the r/s between the ncos and the part better. but in the end, when their standard drops, it's who to blame. partly theirs, partly ours too. and so, i dont mind being unreasonable or show a no feeling attached r/s. haha sounds dumb. but yeah i just wish when we ord, the standard of the company will be one- we look at. smile with confidence and say "RGSNCC is the best unit and will forever be. "

what i dont want to see . is napfa badges becoming silver. low voices becoming high. respect becomes attitude. love becomes hatred. gg rule becomes friends. and everyone forgets about abc rules. like they never existed. a best unit becomes. one of the ordinary. cos i will just blame myself, and i will never be confident enough to pass the company over. or wish it never has been passed to us.

What's the point of sticking your finger into every pie if you can't stomach any of it? What's the point of saying I'M IN CHARGE if you don't actually do anything? Oh, I'm your man for this. Like WTH? We don't want a flowerpot, we want someone who can WORK for us. Someone who loves RGSNCC (land).

Now we understand why ex-S4s just seemed to have some bone to pick with the CO, and why they were always afraid of being the worst batch of S4s, and why they always thought we were eager to take over. :(

hello!

it's 3:10pm on 2/5 tuesday. RS~ !
we're in SHAW LAB, zr's doing her chem pt! i'm doing rubbish! shu ning and piah are next door doing film cluster!

today has been a miserable day. :(
2.4 later! -sigh
goodluck to all! esp to those who are aiming for a better score this year. (:
good old me shall just get the same 13.5min again (like i always do year after year!)
